Before Search Starts
To get the best matching during for the clan war, it is best not to inflate your trophies. Your trophies correspond to the clan ranking. The clan ranking is used to match us with an opposing clan. If our clan ranking is high, then we will get a tougher opponent.
Preparation Day
Make sure your base is optimized for defense making sure you put your clan castle and town hall in the middle your defenses. The troops donated to a War Base will be used to defend it against all attacks during the day. That is why it is important to donate the best troops for the war base. Good troops to put in someone’s war base clan castle are wizards and dragons. If space is limited upper level archers are good. Don’t put giants in clan castle war base because they are too slow for good defense.
Battle Day
Finally, it’s imperative that you use your opportunity to scout enemy bases before going to war. This will help you plan out what troops you need and where you are going to place them during the battle. Use reconnaissance to zero in on the best opponent for you, so you can do your part in defeating them later. Aim for a 100% three-star attack. Don’t be surprised when something good comes out of the clan castle. Draw out the clan castle troops to divide and conquer their forces. Good luck during your battles!
